When we launched in 2020, no one was making motion sensor lights the focus. Everyone else treated them as an afterthought. We built an entire brand around them — and 40,000+ homes later, we're still leading the way.
The journey
2020
Tired of dark hallways, dodgy electricians, and home upgrades that meant drilling holes in walls, we launched the world's first store dedicated entirely to motion sensor lights. Our first product sold out in weeks.
2021
Word of mouth and viral social videos took us from a small UK launch to thousands of homes worldwide. Customers were sticking our lights in places we'd never imagined — campervans, boats, kids' bedrooms, garden sheds.
2022
We launched IlluminateSolar for outdoor spaces. Then the Apex, Sconce, and Halo for more decorative interior use cases. One product became an entire range.
2023
We crossed 40,000 customers. Not 40,000 orders — 40,000 different homes lit up by something we built. Customers kept coming back to add more lights to more rooms.
Today
